The Hebrew version governs

Clanio is a Hebrew-first product built and launching in Israel. Our Terms of Use are written and maintained in Hebrew, and per the document itself, the Hebrew version controls if any translation differs. This page is a plain-English summary, not a substitute for the full text.

By creating an account or using Clanio you agree to a binding agreement with the service operator. Clanio is a social platform for connecting groups — not a background-check service, matchmaking agency, security company, or event organizer, and it doesn't guarantee that any group will get a Like, Match, or meetup.

Eligibility: the service is limited to people who meet the minimum age set by Clanio for the service. Age is currently self-declared via date of birth at sign-up — there is no government ID or third-party age verification.

How it works: you build a personal profile, then create or join a group. Once a group has three active members it gets a shared profile. A group admin can Like or Pass other groups; a Match happens only when both groups Like each other, which opens a shared group chat. In the current version there is no private messaging between individuals from different groups.

Your content: you keep ownership of what you upload. You grant Clanio a limited license to operate the service with it. Clanio will not use your photos, videos, or meetup stories for marketing without your separate, explicit, documented consent.

Real-world meetups: Clanio lets users propose and coordinate meetups independently. Clanio is not a party to any meetup, does not organize it, is not present, and does not supervise it. A Match, chat, or prior meetup is never consent to contact, photography, recording, or romantic or sexual activity.

Enforcement: Clanio may restrict, suspend, or remove an account or group that violates the Terms or creates a safety concern, and may act immediately without notice in cases of real safety risk. See the Community Guidelines and Reporting & Blocking Policy.

Israeli law governs the Terms and the use of the service, and Israeli courts have jurisdiction, subject to rights that cannot be contracted around.
