This policy explains how Clanio handles claims that content posted, uploaded, or shared through the service infringes copyright, moral rights, trademarks, image rights, privacy, or other third-party rights.

Users may only upload content they have a legal right to use. You keep ownership of what you upload; uploading to Clanio doesn't transfer ownership to us. We won't use your content for marketing without separate, explicit, documented consent.

Who can file a takedown request: the rights holder, the creator, a person appearing in a photo/video/recording (for claims about their own rights), an authorized representative, or a lawyer. You don't need to be a registered Clanio user to file one.

How to file: email legal@clanio.co (you can copy support@clanio.co) with your name and contact info, your relationship to the claimed right, a clear description of the work or right, information identifying the content on Clanio, and a statement that the information is accurate and that you're authorized to act. A vague request to remove "everything" without identifying specific material may not be actionable.

If a request is missing information, we may ask for it; if it's not provided within 14 calendar days, the case may close without a decision on the merits. Urgent requests — non-consensual intimate content, content involving a minor, threats, or a court order — may be prioritized. During review, Clanio may temporarily restrict content when there's a reasonable basis to believe a violation occurred.

The user who uploaded the content generally gets 7 calendar days to respond — for example with proof of ownership, a license, consent from the person depicted, or an explanation of fair use. After weighing both sides, Clanio may leave the content up, remove or restrict it, or restore it if a temporary restriction isn't supported. A party affected by a decision can request reconsideration within 14 calendar days at legal@clanio.co.

Misusing this process — false ownership claims, forged documents, harassment through takedown requests — may itself be treated as a violation of our Terms.

For harassment, threats, impersonation, non-consensual intimate content, or a suspected underage user, use the safety report tools or email safety@clanio.co instead — this policy is focused on ownership and rights-of-use claims.
